Occupying 272m² on Level 22 at 69 Ann Street, this corporate office fitout was designed to reflect The Estate Lawyers’ commitment to professionalism, discretion, and client care. The relocation into a larger tenancy allowed the firm to expand its operations and better accommodate both staff and clientele. The new layout includes ten private offices, a formal boardroom, a meeting room, a welcoming reception space, two utility areas, twelve open-plan workstations, a breakout kitchen, and a dedicated server room.
Leithal’s scope of work involved refining the existing layout to enhance functionality and visual cohesion, focusing on materiality, lighting, and palette selection. A soft, beach-inspired scheme of warm whites, sandy timber tones, and gentle blues was layered throughout the space, evoking tranquillity and composure—qualities especially important for a firm supporting clients navigating the loss of a loved one. Ambient lighting was strategically integrated, with recessed LED strip lighting and spotlighting used to accentuate feature joinery, artwork, and signage, ensuring a refined and welcoming environment.
The reception area was designed as a calm and understated entry experience, with feature panelling, curved walls, and high-spec illuminated signage creating an elegant yet approachable presence. A potted olive tree was incorporated to add warmth and life, softening the tone of the space and introducing a biophilic element. Glazed partitions with sheer treatments offer transparency and filtered privacy, reinforcing the open yet composed character of the tenancy.
The boardroom is equipped with ergonomic seating, integrated AV technology, and acoustic wall treatments, ensuring a high level of functionality without compromising the space’s
calming aesthetic. The kitchen breakout area, with sweeping views across Brisbane, includes seamless joinery, a large fridge, concealed appliances, and built-in LED lighting—designed not only for practical staff use but also as a quiet, inviting retreat.
Additional details such as a dedicated executive storage nook with robe and mirror, and tailored signage upon arrival, ensure both operational needs and branding are cohesively addressed. The outcome is a considered, professional environment that enhances the client journey, supports staff comfort, and communicates trust, stability, and care throughout.
