DFO Brisbane

DFO Brisbane Centre Management had outgrown their current space. To make way for additional staff, increase staff security and privacy and expand functional areas for meetings, DFO Brisbane approached Leithal Designs to deliver a more space-efficient layout and refurbish the workspace functionality that would adapt as the needs of the team grew.

Principal designer, Sonia Leith, used sliding security doors, an updated lobby area and reconfigured the layout to create space that would allow for additional workstations, while maintaining privacy and collaborative spaces in an open plan layout. Smart storage and finishes created a warm and open environment that would remain tidy and uncluttered.  

A key requirement was to move meeting spaces to outside of the core environment to allow for lessees of the DFO complex to host meetings without bringing external parties into the main internal work area.

Leithal Designs was successful in making a relatively small space appear larger, using smart storage, quality finishes and custom designing workstations that would allow for collaboration and privacy.
