Pro Computers
- Client: Pro Computers, Morayfield Shopping Centre
- Size: 77m2
- Type: Retail
- Team: Finesse Fit Outs
Pro Computers Managing Director approached Leithal Designs to tailor and roll out a new design for their stores located throughout Australia. This included the initial test fit site at Morayfield Shopping Centre. Pro-Computers wanted to revamp their dated look and introduce a new and distinguished look which would be rolled out across their retail outlets.
In a Shopping Centre, the retail presence and visual identity of a brand is important for building trust and memorability.
Pro-Computers is known predominantly as an IT service and computer repairs store, Pro Computers wanted their Morayfield retail store front to highlight the resale range of gaming computers, computers, laptops, and accessories they offer in a modern and sophisticated display.
The use of colour, lighting, and layout are all important factors in creating an inviting and visually appealing space. When done correctly, the interior design of a retail store can have a significant impact on sales.
Storage and display cabinets reflected a high-end technology and to the higher end technology market. As screens and glass cabinets reflect light, Leithal Designs designed an LED lighting scheme that lifted the displays while providing sufficient lighting for customers to clearly see the features of the display computers – without glare and reflections.
The store also serves as a service and repair centre, and as such, required fittings in the back of house area, out of sight of the retail store front where the service technicians can work. To ensure technicians would not be disturbed by retail shopping centre noise, Leithal Designs factored in some aesthetic acoustic panels to dampen the invading sound from the shopping centre.
Leithal Designs included smart lighting and display cabinetry to create a sophisticated and futuristic look that matched the company’s brand identity. Leithal Designs considered the fact that the staff would be using the space for both retail sales as well as service and repair work.
As a result, the Pro Computers team has a retail space that looks great and works well for their needs. Pro Computers was impressed with the result, business owner Grant was especially pleased with the outcome.
By working closely with the staff at Pro Computers, Leithal Designs was able to create a retail environment that perfectly suits the company’s image and brand.
